I'm a little late with this thread but oh well.

I think they love the drama. I use to treat woman like crap when I was a teenager an I had them all over me. Once I got older I quick treating them like crap and like they were thoughtful emotional human beings who deserved to be treated with respect. They started running over me, ignoring me, or worste make me their "Gay Best Friend".

Here is something to ponder too. Next time you start dating a girl and she tries to get you to meet this guy who is "Just a friend". Well she treats him like "Just a Friend" but that guy truly loves that girl and would do anything to make her happy. Including pretending to like you despite he knows you aren't the right guy for her. However becuase he does love her with all of his heart she will never treat him more than a gay best friend. Basically don't worry about him.

Which made me think. MM. This guy who is your Best Friend and is helping you through this. Why not him?

Nope, that's not it at all.

When women are younger, they often suffer from poor self esteem. They date one jerk, and they get 'used' to that treatment. So the next guy comes along, treats them the same way, and they simply don't realize they DESERVE better. So it becomes a cycle.... date a jerk, feel worse about themselves, and so on. When a GOOD guy comes along, they don't know how to handle it, because they haven't been treated that way before, so they reject him.

It takes growing up, and realizing you're WORTHY of being treated well to finally appreciate the GOOD guys.

Yea well the problems with that are the good guys get tired of being good and getting fucked over while the jerks get all the pussy! And by the time most women don't realize that until they're old,fat or have a couple kids/baby daddys that a new guy doesn't want to deal with. Strangely enough women tend to get easier to deal with as their "hotness" quotient goes down.
