Vermouth.. the bottle just resembled a bottle of Pernod absinthe I bought for a friend of mine. I had the bottle all of one night, so my memory of it is foggy at best.

made some english pale ale and it turned out damn good - so good it inspired me to make another batch of beer - this time oatmeal stout - bottled it tonight.. took a taste while i was bottling and man it is damn good also.. if the pale ale lasts until the oatmeal stout is done it's going to be a tough choice.. might make some ipa this week as well.. stocking up for the cold weather..

Oh man, I fuggin' love oatmeal stout. Young's is the one I've had most often.

I just bottled an IPA last night. Put a Blood Orange Hefeweisen in the primary.
