I mean, seriously. Can you imagine that shit hole if it did not have oil? Or if we woke up and truly committed ourselves to alternative energy so we did not need their oil? The only time you'd ever even HEAR of Saudi Arabia would be on some National Geographic safari show....you know "today we are in the wilds of Saudi Arabia...these primitive people still stone people to death....still enforce medieval religious taboos on their women etc etc etc."

Ridiculous...ridiculous that they live that way. Even more ridiculous that we as a country whore ourselves to them in order to obtain their resources on the cheap.

We can, its called Africa, lot of bad stuff happening there too but no one knows or hears about it since theres no money or desire to be there aside from the diamond mines.
