I feel yer pain, I have had a bug for an old cb as well, I started ou ton a 77 cb750, but have also been jonesing for an old 900 supersport ducati. Guess I should put my TL back together first LOL

I myself have wondered if I could buy and fix up an old CB, KZ, or XS for less than my Buell payment...
But those thoughts are fleeting.
What I'd end up with is a torn apart, no-running project in my garage or whatever storage space I end up with when I move.

Problem for me is I already have one of those with my TLS, was going to powdercoat it and reapint it along with some other things. Well I took it apart and that was about it

All I have to do is wait until Tracy moves down here, then I can just buy him a mexican martini now and then in exchange for all the help I need working on a bike.

Wasn't too crazy about many of the 80's bikes once a lot of them went to the squarish tanks, fairings, bodywork etc.
