This is no different than the gun debate as far as I can tell. Obama and Romney both are going to make grumblings that keep their base happy but probably never do anything about the issue. It is funny that the "Obama gonna take our guns" crowd are considered hillbilly idiots on here while the "Romney gonna take our porn" crowd has a legitimate cause for concern.

The porn being taken is more plausable. It's hard to take a gun from someone when they are shooting at you. To take someone's porn you just wait until they are done shooting and then get them while they are napping.

Of course, plenty of small-town middle-class people are more than willing to go along with that.

If you ask them why, they claim it's because they believe in the American Dream and want to protect their ability to become rich one day. But IMO it's really because they emulate the rich and want to think of themselves as already being one. Kind of like people who watch mobster movies, or wear sports jerseys or MMA gear in the effort to act like they belong to something they don't....lol
