I'm with marko and temple, that just seems like a setup for a bad situation, let the police do it. Also, why not go around the perimeter of the building first, this would have shown you their point of entry as well as given clues as to if they are still there. See the wall ripped off the building, thats how they got in, see an unfamiliar truck, that means they are still here take up a defensive position behind their car and let out some tire air, wait for police.

He was probably pointing out choice or avoidance. You can avoid getting on a bike as avoiding going in.

He needs to tell the electrician to hook up a switched hot to the paneling. Nothing will stop a thief like a good shock.

Is there a quart of something that I can buy that'll get hard as a rock. I was just going to screw down the panel and put something over the ripped part. Needs to be really hard when it drys. I'll cut some 2x4's and screw them in the framing where they busted through. They'll have to find another place to go through next time.

Risk vs. reward. Riding a bike is fun. Clearing a building is not. I'll let the cops go in there and get shot up. Insurance will replace my stuff. It's just stuff. I'm not taking a bullet for a television.

Very true. I suppose I was thinking from more of a homeowner mentality. But a workplace issue....sheeeeet....
