The only upside to having a break in the riding season is that it allows me to save money for mods.

I have cabin fever. Cant ride anyway cause of my broken clavicle, and the titanium plate, and bone graft and all. I really would like to be jogging or lifting weights at least, maybe tuning on the bike, but no, I am eating cheetos and watching DVDs....

I've done a lot of things with Money but never tried this "Save" thing you speak of...

I always put the bikes away with good intentions. Then I blow money on other shit all winter. Come spring I'll roll the bikes out, look at them and say "FUCK! I forgot these things needed Tires!"

This is how I placate myself too.

And while I may not be riding all the time right now, I'm always shopping for motorcycle goodies.

Makes me appreciate TX even more today - was about 65-70, sunny and breezy and we spent the day at the MX park...

I do miss snow but then again, I can always fly somewhere when I want to see that or ski.

I went out and shot two rounds of sporting clays. Cheap fun until I saw a over and under shotgun that I wouldn't mind snagging.

I hate winter, it's grey snowy cold and windy. Weather has been a tease too, was nice and melting last week and then bloody miserable and grey this week, just when you can see spring coming...grr. I told my husband we need to retire somewhere HOT all year, he should love being able to ride all year too.

Yeah, but there is no "free" healthcare in the warm places.

Sorry, I had to.

BTW, it's gonna be 67 today and sunny. I'm only snickering a little bit. I have to go to KC next weekend.
