Spybot just pisses them off for me. Doesn't do crap but remove the same entries over and over. Malwarebytes does a better job, but doesn't get rid of everything. Anyone find any free shit that works 100%?

These browser attacks you speak of, are an exploitation of a scripting flaw in IE.

By allowing scripts to run, you are essentially executing shit on your computer. Since everyone seems to be incapable of writing shit that truly both allows and yet isolates this to the browser, the best way to surf safely is with scripting blocked for all sites but those that you explicitly trust and allow.

Of course you are always "breaking shit" in your browsing experience (that you can "fix" with a mere right-click to "enable"), but by requiring this occasional extra step, it essentially allows you to consider the neighborhood before you drop your pants.

Spybot, NoScript (firefox add-on), Adblock (firefox add-on), AVG, Firewall blocks everything for me. Never had a problem with Ebay.
