That looks like a good setup for a mom/girlfriend/wife joke.

I love the bikes but have heard they are expensive and always needing mechanical stuff done to it.

You can back out. Just say "I thought about it and I'm sorry but I'm going to hang on to it". He might get pissed but if he wants a MV then he probably understands too.

a 1k profit in a month is enough for me if it was a bike that I only bought because of the deal I got on it.

then again... I don't have the cash to throw around like that so... the $ is a big deal for me.
