Burt Ford is a pretty large, respected dealer. And Englewood is a fairly decent area.

If I were you I would try to live near Washington Park, Cherry Creek, Speer, or Capital Hill. That way you'd be close to downtown Denver so you could go out & shit. Englewood is OK but it's basically just a suburb so it's not all that exciting.

Only problem with Denver is that in the summer it gets kinda hot IMO, and there's often alot of dust in the air. Also there ain't much in the way of trees until you get into the mountains.

dude go, go fast. I've moved a family of four semi cross country with $300. It isn't that bad. Take a tent if you have to for a crash place until you find something with walls.

sometimes the crazy jumps are the most fun and rewarding. sounds like you have a lot of help and support with this one if you need it.

Or if it does work out, just come back at a later date and pick the rest of it up. She'll also watch after my dog too so I don't have to worry about finding a place right away that allows pets

Kinda looking like my best option right now..... thoughts?? Think I can move semi-cross country on the $100 I have?? That'll be a fun one to try and figure out how to do, hahah


For those unfamiliar with my present situation.... I got laid off back in November, got another job in January but it ended up not working out (long story), and I had to leave there in early June. Unemployment screwed be over (I really should have let them fire me... again, long story), so as of now I have had zero income for the past month. Can't seem to find anything locally, sooooo see above...

Ride your bike out there. Stay at friends house along the way. Stay in a hotel until you save up enough money to move all of your stuff. Or the easier route was already mentioned. Some employers pay a portion of your movings cost. Some even pay all of your moving costs.

Keep this in mind if you have to move on your own dime. Expenses related to relocating(more than 100 miles from your current location) for a job are tax deductible.
