Ughhhh...Trivia night. I forgot about that. I'd rather go on Wednesday.

LOL. Thanks for the tip. I've broken a few, or 25.
That just seems like a long recovery to me.

But congrats on getting off! I have logged too many miles on crutches and canes. Not a big fan

Sorry, it's become an immediate reaction....you have no idea how many times I have had to hear people ask, "why are you still walking with the cane?"

It gets on my friggin nerves.

I've been there, could not even walk for 4 months, bedridden for two.

Congrats, when is your first ride?

Yeah, 4 months from surgery to walking on my own is pretty fast. No cast, no wheelchair. Pretty amazing.

My dad is talking about getting a turbo busa for the Texas Mile (texasmile.net) in October. That might be my most realistic option. That makes sense right? Making my 'first' ride a turbo busa.

No to further irritate you, and not trying to make assumptions but pushing rehab helps tremndously. I broke my right knee cap in half, spilt my leg wide open, severed the pateller tendon, and partially tore my PCL right before race season. As a result of the injury and subsequent surgery I had little flexibility (was supposed to be in a locked out knee brace for 4 weeks and no walking) and my quad muscle had zero function. I told my surgeon I had a race 8 weeks to the day from the injury and he laughed. 4 weeks later I walked into rehab, and 4 weeks after that I brought them a pic of my dragging that knee at my race.

I didn't have rehab or physical therapy.

I asked about PT when I left the hospital and the PT Trainer shrugged his shoulders and said, 'you probably don't need it.'

Yesterday when I saw the ortho he says, 'you can walk without the cane. Just don't go running or jumping or trying out for the Spurs.' Dream crushing bastard.
