Seriously? Looks like a Chinese cap gun. I wouldn't fire that thing with Ann Coultier's hand.
Any handgun that fires 20-gauge or larger shells would almost have to be built before '35, and would be be a Class III firearm ("Destructive Device") nowadays, so .410 is the best you can really do... There are quite a few .410/.45LC derringers, but I've never fired one, bet it's a real experience... And I've fired 2-3/4" 12-ga shells one-handed with my Persuader... Not gonna win any IDPE matches with it, but it's kinda fun Last edited by unknownroad; 12-22-2008 at 04:34 PM.. |

Gas Man, you are not allowed to post anymore. I can't follow the threads when you do. I just kinda sit here and stare at your avatar for about an hour and forget what I was doing.

I finally remembered the double-barreled shotgun pistol that I was struggling to recall the name of. It's the Ithaca Autoburglar. It was a double-barreled 20 gauge, dual trigger shotgun pistol that was meant for home defence back in the 1920s/30s, but was more frequently used by criminals.

Yup, the Thompson Center single shot pistol only goes to .410 gauge. They do also have 45-70 and 30-30 WIN though.
