It appears as though Yamaha cut a deal with NESBA too.

This is my next street ride! http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/pr...19/0/home.aspx

I can use my ZX6R for track days and work the highways in style...Forget about the R1/R6 track bias!

The R1 has a gear indicator now and a completely redesigned instrument cluster that looks badass. You can only see it in the video until they throw more pics up in the gallery.

CW says they've been doing it in MotoGP for a little while now.

They first put it out on the 2nd gen FZ1...The suspesnion on that one wasn't as adjustable but I remember the damping and spring rates weren't good for the FZ1 and alot of folks went to scratching their heads as to how it could be better. I am sure the R1 components will be much higher quality...I think the European Black and Gold R1 is the hottest color scheme. It is available here only on the R6.

As for me my ego doesn't need a massage and I need a do-it -all bike more than I need 86 ft lbs of torque so the FZ6R is right up my alley! Of course you have to understand I owned 3 of the YZF600R's, so the do-it-all concept is my background as well.

I'm not crazy about the initial pics BUT it may grow on me.

I didn't care for the C6 Z06 when it first came out but now I want one.
Did you see the write up that Superbike Planet did? I posted it on page 1 or 2 in this thread.

Yes...actually was just reading that when you posted this. What I meant by mag test/articles is actual riding test as compared to the previous R1's. I'm looking forward to FastBikes...Superbike...or SportRider to thrash one and and compare it to the 07' - 08' like I have.

Thanks for the link.
