It’s also where de Havilland engineers assembled and tested the first Canadian satellite, Alouette I, which established Canada as the third nation in space when launched in 1962.
Not bad for a bunch of dirty Canucks. But somebody, somewhere, totally missed the pure marketing power that is...

First Moose in Space.

Would have saved your museum, guaranteed.

Things like this didn't present a problem for an officer. Officers had a tried and
tested way of solving problems like this. It was called a sergeant.

You've got a point. Just selling ground cosmic-rayed dried moose dick, to the Chinese, would likely have generated enough cash to save the thing.

So get off your asses and build Orion.

And there's still Soyuz, for now, though they are looking at replacing it too.

Soyuz is grounded right now, since they blew up the supply rocket.

But not long term, unlike the Shuttle. You want the Russians to own space, after all your country has done up there?

PC, you might be the only Canadian that thinks anything is more important than anything involving hockey.

Yes, that was a blatant stereotype of Canadians.

Well I don't seem to be a stereotypical Canadian. For example if water isn't wet I don't have a clue what to do with it, if there aren't any highball glasses in sight.

I want NASA of the 60s, not these asshats that managed to infest one of the most amazing things we have done as humans. To paraphrase Gene Krantz, we lost the human factor. All that technology we have available to us and we can't do shit with it, as opposed to what those guys did with barely anything.
