It's not the distance, it's the time of year. I want to ride the bike if I'm going to a bike show. But I don't have seat warmers or heated gear, not to mention my bike isn't exactly set up for snow and ice. Therefore, I won't be going to any bike shows in the north during the dead of winter.

the show in NYC is usualy mid to late january so weathers prety bad here. theres usualy a handful of guys who ride in, but i hate riding in manhattan as it is so I iwll take the train in

Even in good weather it sucks riding through Manhattan.

oh trust me, I know that one, been riding down to wtc for my weekend shifts there and I am not even in manhattan for that long.
