Same thing happened to me. There was one last pair of smalls on these certain gloves I buy at the honda dealership. It was on the "get rid of" rack. I asked if this was correct since it was the last pair. He said no but gave me the discount any ways.

Ive been putting off replacing them because with the holes in the fingers I can operate my phone while riding

You did nothing wrong and went out of your way, to ask. These days most people would just toss them on the counter, without saying a word, which is a damned shame.

Agree with everyone else that you did the right thing. You brought it to their attention that it was priced incorrectly. They chose to sell to you at the price marked, regardless of their reasoning for doing so.
