Kinda sad to see the P-3 head off but I guess this new one has better range, more speed and more toys.

Wikipedia said something similar, but stated the P-8 uses raked wingtips similar to the 767-400ER instead of 737 style blended winglets. I must not have seen a 767-400ER before since the only aircraft I associate that wing design with is the 787. It is a distinctive feature I probably would have remembered.

screw the p-8 where did the P80 come from? arent those nasa colors? or is that some rich SOB who didnt want an L29 or 39?

not the sub hunters. they usually have a radar boom sticking out the poop end

My wife is a Chief in the Navy and has been working on P3's her entire carrer. Will be interesting to see the new P8's hit the fleet.
