i wear out the left side first too , but i'm faster in the right handers

I rode my ex's SV several times with these tires and I loved them! Especially compared to what was on mine. It gave me more confidence than other tires I've ridden on (which isn't many) I couldn't tell you how much mileage he got out of them because he sold the bike with them still on.

The only reason I got the Maxxis after the Conti-Forces is because I got a deal on them. I would have went with the Road Attacks then if I could have gotten them at what I could afford at the time. When I bought tires a couple of weeks ago, I knew I wanted to Road Attacks and started researching to see who had the better price. Ridedirect had the best price and had them to me in about 3 working days.

this bike destroys rear tires for sure
You sure do ask a lot of questions...

So anyway, I average about 4500 out of Sport Tour tires and about 3000 out of sport tires, but it really depends on where and how hard I ride them. Just street riding I've gotten as much as 6K out of a set and as few as 700. Actually the cords were showing through at 735 miles on a front. I guess I was a little too hard on it.

Any of you ever run the Shinko's?? I had them on my Kat when I first got it and I got around 2500 out of them and the PO said he had got somewhere around 2 on it already. I thougth that was pretty good. I ended up buying another set and I thought they did really well for the type riding that I do, and seemed to heat up fairly quick.

I was just looking at Bike Bandit and I could get a complete set for $170. I think that's awesome as if I were to bust one or what have you, I wouldn't be out much money and I could afford to have two sets of tires a year and still get more mileage than what most get at the same price for one set. I'm not a track rider and I don't totaly eat up the twisties, but I do need something to handle pretty well and I thought that these did.

one track day and about 2500 road miles on Metzler Racetech softs. The sides are shredded but the centers are pretty much untouched. I ride back and forth to work on the interstate mostly.

I have about 8800 miles on my Pilot Road 2 on the rear. It's only worn on the las 1/8" of the tire on the sides. The middle still has the mold release compound on it.

Yeah, and what kind of mileage are they going to yeild?? Not much, probably. I'm not using this bike for racing and buying tires just for the name is not my thing either.

Do I make any sense?
