Picked up an HP pavilion laptop last night, so far I think I like it. Bought it for the huge screen and the graphics, apparently its considered a "gaming" computer, but I'll MAKE it work for $1200 less than the Macpro I wanted.

Please more of you go over to apple and take all the hackers/crackers/virus programmers with you. I will gladly keeping pay less money for better systems that are now free from attack since you guys took them with you.

Linux is definitely the worst. Mac a close second, I don't see much Microsoft elitism on the net. Mostly MS bashing.

Mac elitism = Done by people who judge a person by what they wear
Linux elitism = Done by people who need a life

My sister had an Imac a long time ago, and I hated it. The fucker just wouldn't stop crashing. It was one of the lower end models, but it was still bullshit. My friend's parents bought a top of the line mac not too long ago and it's great. I don't know what to think of them, but I do know it's a hell of a lot cheaper to build a good PC then it is to fork out the cash for a mac. Not to mention mac doesn't support nearly as many programs as PC still.

I meant forums like car, bike, and other "male-dominated" hobby forums I've been on. Usually with these guys it's always about how great their custom-built PC is, how much money they saved (but probably spent more time)........But the biggest thing I notice is that they go on and on about how stupid someone would have to be to buy a Mac, and that Mac owners must have only bought it for the image, and that they are sheep, etc. etc.

In contrast, most Mac owners I know stick to themselves, and don't actively diss PC's unless they are attacked first.
