I am intrigued, I like how they are going for a more realistic, burn victim look. I also like Jackie Earl Hayley as Freddie, I think he has a creepy look/vibe and has impressed me with his range. I just hope they do the story justice and bring on the titties. the girls look too old tho, as in grad school, not high school.

no more imagination in 'Hollywood'.
remakes of older movies, cartoons and comics.

I am a huge fan of horror flicks and this one looks pretty good. I like what Zombie did with the first Halloween remake (too much acid on the 2nd one) and the new Friday the 13th was pretty good (though you cannot recreate the suspense of the original, or the Kurt Hodder performances in all the Jason based Friday's)...
This looks to be more of the same... Classic horror remade with very close ties to the original. One of the things that made Freddy such an awesome character was the humor... this seems to be a bit more serious and Haley can CERTAINLY pull off the scary/creepy... the voice is killer. However, I don't see the humor element as much, but you never know it could be there still. All in all... I'm pretty stoked. |

Kane Hodder bro, he was actually a little later in the series.
http://www.fridaythe13thfilms.com/ I actually look forward to a bit more seriousness, like the first Nightmare.

leprechaun in space, it was like watching a porno without the sex. it literally would have been more entertaining had the director placed his 1.6 million dollar budget in neat little stacks, poured on some gas and lit em up.

Robert Englund, for as goofy and non-scary as he is out of makeup (ok, maybe a bit creepy at best), made Freddy the stuff of my nightmares for quite a while after seeing the original NoES as a kid.

Compared to the stupid "Roach Motel" scene later in the series...night and day.
