Yup, TTX GP was in town last weekend at Mosport. Unfortunately they only had 5 bikes competing. The race start was bizarre; take-off with no sound at all from where I was, in the final corner before the front straight. I usually couldn't even hear them until they were almost in front of me.

It was seriously screwing with my ability as a photographer. I'm left eye dominant, which means that I can't use that eye to spot around the camera while waiting for the bikes to show up. I have to depend on my hearing both for safety and to know when the bikes are coming. There was only one of them that I could hear from more than the nearest corner in distance.

It's about the best one I have from the track day this weekend. My brother was zoomed in as far as he could get, but unfortunately, almost all of the pics are still a bit blurry. Oh well, figure I'll submit the pic anyway. Oh, and this is about all the lean the strom has in it. I scraped peg a LOT, and the back end got squirrelly a few times.

My favorite picture of my trip.
I was headed to the base of Mt. Rainier - at a pull over to take some pictures of the breathtaking view. A guy asked me if I would like to have my picture taken. Of course! He was even kind enough to point me out in the picture with his finger in front of the lens
