The thing is, TMall and I grew up in a place where coyotes are more common than most game. They never attack people, and are usually scared to death. You can always hear them howl, but aside from deer and rabit, they stay out of sight.

Of course they hunt in packs. But its unheard of for them to hunt humans. They really are cowardly animals.

Every time I've seen a coyote it was solitary. Do they generally hunt in packs?

They're pretty common around here. People get their stupid little purebred fuzzball dogs eaten by them when they escape their purses.

I've seen them on every farm I've ever worked on. They're all over the city now too. I don't let the dogs out at night alone. Too risky where they live.

Makes no sense to me either, why ruin a perfectly good breed of wolf and make it half dog?

Ive heard stories of pet wolves among the natives when i worked up in northern Alberta years ago. No idea if its true or not, but damn what an impressive animal they would be to own!

No lie some lady had a pet alligator with her at the party I was at Saturday. She was trying to get it to bite people.

they dont make good pets. Imagine a giant dog that marks no matter what and can never be brought into public or in the company of guests.
