not just sure yet. I'd like to keep the DRZ and make it a motard...
more than likely... with my current financial situation... it'd be a replacement |

If you get the Vstrom...get the 650. I had the Vstrom 650 and the thing was awesome OTHER THAN wind buffeting at freeway speeds, but if played with the windscreen height it seemed to make it better. The best things about the bike were 270 miles to a tank and 47mpg no matter how you beat it up. Comfortable as hell and had a big tail to place a box. I got rid of it simply because the bars were a tad wide for splitting fast between cars.
The 1000 makes clanking noises as typical in big V-twins. I'd stay away.

I'd love to have a 200+ mile range... though on the DRZ the seat and my 4 gal tank are very much in sync... 180ish is about all ya can do... or all I can do before my taint needs a break |

You know, the longer range would be great but my ass appreciates having to stop every 150 to fuel up

on my ZZR and RR I could do close to 200 miles before my butt would start hurting because it was wide... the DRZ... ehh 180 ish but that's with the Air Hawk Pad. Give me a seat like Trip's... I'll do 300 no issues I promise. |

Stop it you with your logic!! Damn you!
(my Sargent seat arrives in a couple days so I'm hoping for longer saddle time)
