homeowners, garage parking? - Page 16

Last night we had a neighborhood meeting. The builder turned over the HOA management duties to a property management company. We have a contract to pay them $12K a year. Fuck, the builder was doing it for free. Out HOA dues isn't going up though because they had a surplus that last few years.

I don't hate everyone in the neighborhoods, obiviously there is some good people in them as I was one of them when I lived in one with my parents.

I hate the jackoffs in them and I dislike their rules and no I don't go by neighborhoods with my middle finger in the air. I hate when they try to impose the same rules outside of their little compound. If they want to spend their money to live in that type of atmosphere, yey for them. If they want to take over farms and bring a crowd of their buddies and start enforcing it on the community that was there before, BOO!

Is the subdivision really incomplete or something? How has the developer not released that to the HOA yet?

The development is not complete yet. There are 3 vacant lots left but they are all under construction. They are also adding a street to the neighborhood which has been on the plan map from the beginning. That will add another 22 homes to the neighborhood. Our neighborhood has been under construction for 6 years now. And this new street will take at least 2 years to finish most likely more with the economy.

Damn, the developer fucked yall, it's normally 50% capacity to take control of the HOA. He is only suppose to get 1 vote for each of the lots he still owns.
