my partner on wensday is a confirmed curse. he get's stuff like explosions and skin catching on fire and sudden testicle relocation. we had a mild one the other day where a slight respitory distress turned into someone with spo2 below 50. we had to put on cpap and 3 of the o2 tanks were empy and the back up was only at 1000 psi

Funny how you can get papers that do everything except help your family understand that you're ready to go.

Gonna be some real fun here now. on eof our registrar/clerks came in to be seen. Now she is a useless piece of shit and I have made it know that thats what I think of her. Normally we will give courtesey and take care of them promptly. Now since she has been oh soo helpful when shes working I figured she can wait to be seen in the appropriate time order. Apparently a clerk shes frinds with (another one I have less and less use for) went and asked one of the docs to come see her.

Now on one hand its good since I dont have to see or talk to her ( much less examine her since shes got me by 100 pounds) but I also dont appreciate these people going over my head right in front of me. So I may have to pull the passive agressive thing and see where that goes. One is a little ghetto princess so I would love to put her in line.

She would go cry to HR about it and hell they would prolly give me a promotion for it

The DNR stuff here can get quite messy at times. We had one roll through a while back, was in full arrest, so we ran a code and got her back. Turns out the daughter or soem other family member had a DNR order and decided not to tell us about it untill after we succesfuly revived her. She obviously had some other motive to keep this poor lady alive.

Last night was a fucking nightmare. We were slammed, and every patient seemed to have a vendetta against all the docs and anyone who stepped foot in the room. We had an unusually high number of AMA's and generally indignant people. Maybe there was something in the water or something, because it was fucking miserable. Some crackhead drug seeking fuckhead tried to get violent when the doctors wouldn't give him large doses of percocet, vicodin or oxy. When he figured out he wasn't getting shit he tried to kick out the sliding glass doors that ambulance and fire rescue comes through, but shit for brains didn't realize those glass doors are some hardcore hurricane proof bitches that aren't going to break for his doped out ass, no matter how hard he kicks.
