I noticed that. That's disconcerting and unfortunate. I was actually trying to give them a chance and assume when they said that almost nothing would change, they meant that any changes would be superficial or for the better. Silly me for thinking that it meant better for the community.

Was there any posting that listed what this premium membership buys? I did a half assed scan of the site looking for the "give me money" button, but I gave up when I couldn't must up enough of a damn to care.

Well I made it over but I'm just really finding I have a lot less time (and inclination) to learn the set up of a new forum.

Not yet. I think the new owners are too busy figuring out which people to censor first.
