Yeah that avatar sorta stops any meaningful post I had in mind. I just stop and enjoy life for those moments.

My knee pads may be Air-Ride and chrome plated but I have standards as to who I use them on.

Man this sux. Glad it wasn't worse. I cringed a little when I read it as I've been hit by a cager and I know it could happen again...in a flash.

Don't be a smartass, Dan

OK, so the latest is that there seems to be "something" wrong with my right shoulder...could be minor like some deep muscle bruising or something a bit more serious, i think they are going to schedule an MRI for me. Also there might be some damage to my the back of my left knee...again could just be some bruising...but they aren't sure. The bad news is that I don't get to see the doc again till next thursday. But I do get more therapy and massages .

Bout fuggin time they ordered it. Back of the knee, there isnt too much back there to damage but I would have it imaged as well.

status update:

the left ankle is now completely immobilized. the doc is pretty concerned with all the swelling so he put it in a cast today. he said that at least one week and then we'll go from there. he also told me that my right ankle is sprained as well, but not even close to what the left one is. and as far as my shoulder goes he checked the rotator cuff and he said that it seemed ok...just might be a strain that will heal itself in a week or so.

Thanks for the update, Steve. Did the doc give you any anti inflamatories for the swelling? Is it just the ankle that is sprained or is another part of the foot sprained too. Yours is beginning to sound like mine was but hopefully they'll treat yours better than they did mine.....
