And google Sandestin / Destin / Fort Walton Beach.

Then you can come back and restate a more valid and correct opinion.

Many of the most exclusive neighborhoods are as FAR away from public transportation as possible.

You don't need a motorcycle or sportscars and yet people have them.... Kids having cars to get places such as work in some areas is much more a need than the toys we buy. You are straying for the topic. Which is too many cars for the garage.

If you have a large family in areas that don't have public trans (which is a lot of america outside the large cities, we have terrible public trans here) that has different schedules and the need for each to have their own vehicle is great, than yes, a middle class family is not going to have enough garage space to fit all their vehicles because lets face it a true middle class family is not going to be able to afford a 4-5 car garage home that wasn't custom built to be a small home with a huge garage..

Google is your friend.

Yes, we do have HOA's for pretty much every S/D. This area experienced HUGE growth when the economy was good, we have places like Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort and others like it, with golf courses and homes right on the water. Costing several hundred a month with 500 page rule books of what you can and cant do.

Drive 20 minutes north, woods and banjos.

Even many of the more rural areas have super nice S/D's and HOA's because at one time, just a few years ago, they couldnt clear land fast enough for the growth.

There is no public transportation other than a few buses. Thats it. I don know why, all I know is we have them, and they only make major stops. Like across the island to the really touristy place, and back. And twice a day they head up north, at odd hours.

That would be correct, The closest busline I can find is about 5-6 miles away and has a limited schedule.

ok, we were talking about kids not really needing cars togo to school, so do these areas have buses for kids to goto school.

we live out far enough that we don't have public trans. and we like it that way.........it'll soon be out here though.
