I thought that they have a "quota" or limit... Anyway, we kill millions of animals per year for food, clothing, convenience, etc but he no fair killing a few whales.

We aren't looking at the extinction of cows anytime soon. Whales, on the other hand, are being hunted out of existence.

It's a touchy feelie objection... these people don't care about facts or figures. No number of whales being harvested is acceptable to these kooks.

Here is this past year's quota: 935 minke, 50 fin and 50 humpback whales per season

What I find interesting... is we hunt deer and Elk, and many other animals due to over population... yet the most Over-abundant animal on earth... is Human. lets start population control... then I'm sure we won't have as many problems with other animals going extinct
