Exactly. People don't "get offended" by others, they CHOOSE to TAKE OFFENSE at things said by others. That means, in other words, these people have allowed others to have power over them, by simply letting mere words offend them. It's a choice. Tagging a wall is destruction of property. It costs money to fix that, whether it's a full cleaning or just another can of paint to cover it up. I'm at a loss for the criminal act that was committed here. The best I can come up with was misuse of Wal-mart property, in which case they have grounds to sue, and certainly to ban him from the premises, but an arrest?

Apparently it damaged something less concrete; Wal-Mart's reputation. I know that some would say that they don't have one worth protecting anyway, but....

What ever happen to being a man and taking responsibility for your actions. A small prank can go bad.

And people keep saying its nothing to be offended about. I have already said it but there was a cross burned in the yard of a black man in Nova Scotia last month. Different people have a different view of funny.

What is there to take responsibility for James?

Comparing a kid making a dumb comment to someone burning a cross in a black mans yard is ridiculous. The cross burning as a deep seated meaning of hatred in it. This was a stupid remark.
