I'm so sorry to hear this. You gave him the best retirement he could have asked for. He now knows what it is like to run around in grass instead of on a track, he slept on a bed and not in a crate. He felt real love from an owner. All dogs should have these things in their lives. I'll be thinking of you and your family.

Thanks guys for the support. 2 days ago he was putting some pressure on the leg now, yesterday its lame, he won't put any pressure on it, just holds it up. You can see the ankle growing. Its messin him up fast and bad.

And yes today he has been getting people food. He just got some lunch meat, there is a hamburger in the fridge with his name on it as well.

I just hope he knows we did what we can for him... I tell ya this is not what I want to deal with... should have had 5 yrs at least with him.
