Unfortunately there's no video of what came before, and no one is being very forthcoming about it. Seems that the kicking at the cab started before that point, after the cabbie tossed them out of his car, so at that point there was likely a fair bit of testosterone spiking, yelling, and circling saying, "Come on man! Come on!!" In bastard French, of course.

They weren't expelled from Quebec. They were tossed out of Acadia (ie Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island). They were so addled by alcohol that that can't even say "Acadie" (FR) or "Acadian" (EN) properly.

Everyone in that area of Canada knows that a PROPER party is called a ceilidh (kay-lee) anyway.
