Nice guys finish last... and make less money.

It's true. When you're all nice and cooperative you get nowhere. Start being a dick, and you start climbing up the ladder... Until you get high enough that people get mad at you for being a dick. Then you have to be nice until you stop climbing... And then you have a be a dick again.

I have learned this the hard way. I'm a nice person and have to force myself to be a dick to get anywhere.
