It's definitely hard to get use to and a lot more stressful. So many more factors to worry about.

That would be interesting, but I don't have the energy/stamina/ability to climb that high up.

Great report! I had to laugh though. We just returned from a 2 week 3700 mile trip. Went to Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Four Corners, Mesa Verde, Million Dollar Hwy, Ouray, & Yellowstone. A lot of your photos looked really familiar.
