OK, backstory: http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/outr...l-20110408-ncx

They thought it to have rabies. I don't know about y'all - but, I've seen what rabies does to animals. And, I personally wouldn't want to get anywhere near it. Fuck that noise - I'd shoot the little fucker.

Of course they thought it had rabies, everyone thinks every wild animal they see has rabies...

Even with rabies, it would have been easier to throw a box over the lil thing than aim pepper spray or anything else at it.

ETA: OMG, common sense!!!

One parent questioned why the students weren't simply moved away from the squirrel.
And seeing as it lives at the school, would it also not be just as easy to assume the kids have been feeding the lil booger so it has no fear of humans and is simply begging? Just saying...anybody been to the beach lately with psycho seagulls? Or out to the Botanical Gardens in Ft. Worth, those squirrels will run right up and steal cheetos outta your bag.

No that's a myth, there are actually no remaining Stars fans in Texas.

Well there aren't any Leafs fans left here, either. Must have been the last few, killing each other off.
