What gets me is that when it was finally titled this year, it was already showing the 584 miles. The bike could have been crashed and pieced back together in those 8 or 9 years, and it wouldn't show on the VIN report, because the VIN report only shows history post-registration. Of course the title is clean if it was just issued this May and it hasn't been ridden since.

It was probably a demo bike to get those miles on it, would not be titled till it sold. And it's possible it was wrecked in that period, fixed by the dealership without an insurance claim and not reported, but that's not too likely unless an employee wrecked it maybe. The nice thing is, it's still under warrenty
