not bad... knowing the seller is a plus! I can find the camera with the 300mm lens for $250 but the third lens and the flash seals it. I found a new one with just the standard kit for $150...but you'll never find the rest for $175... My only negative comment is how out dated it is but for amateur shots, it should be great! Pm Brandon or Papa Complex...

im a huge amatuer, like i dont even own a point and shoot, just a damn cell cam

Should be perfect then! I have a DSLR and a P&S that haven't seen the sun since I've gotten 5-8 meg cameras on my phones...

I probably wouldn't do it, at least without more research. I'm guessing you are considering this as a less expensive way to try out a DSLR and see if it is something you may have more interest in. The Digital Rebel is as good a camera body as any for this. The problem for me is if I were to do the same the lenses in the deal would need to be something I would want to stick with for the long haul. Look in to the included Sigma lenses (and the external flash) to see if they are worth it before making a decision.
