Expert testimony IS expert testimony. In this case, the officer was certified in speed estimation. That makes him "certified" to make such an assumption. I don't know how they came up with 79mph, seems rather specific for an estimation. |
My guess: 80mph is probably a new tier of ticket and the driver would have a better chance fighting that one.
