Market is taking another dump today. The Dow is down around 300 currently. It is just a guess but I think tomorrow may be worse. Either way I think there is about a 25% chance the Dow ends the week above 10,000.

If it breaks through 10,000 for very long I think there may be a race for the bottom the last hour or so of trading.

I'd like to know how many Fridays are down days.....I'd be willing to bet the majority. Traders get afraid that there's going to be some shitty news over the weekend.

I believe on average the worst days for the US are Mondays (Tuesdays for most of the rest of the world as a lot of market moves start in America and travel with the sun), but there are a ton of studies out there about it. Search for the "day of the week effect" and you can read all about it but I will warn you, much of it is boring as hell.
