My 9R was sliding sideways before it regained traction in the rear and FLIP... there I go!

I forgot about this.
This summer I had two idiots come blowing by me to get on the onramp. It pissed me off pretty good, so I decided to play get real close to their rear tire. It took all of about 2 seconds to catch up and realize they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Not only were they wearing shorts, tshirts and sneakers. They were sticking their ass out instead of their knee. I didn't want to be responsible for them riding over their head, so I backed right off. Settled in and let them go cutting through traffic. I crest a hill a few kms down the highway, and I can see them setting up to take the offramp to a really nice twisty stretch of road that I'm heading to as well. I see the first guy go in with the second guy following close behind. It's a fairly tight offramp, but can easily be done in excess of 100kmh if you have the slightest bit of skill. Then I see rear guys tail lights. Then I see his wheel slide and gain traction and pitch him off. The bike goes rolling into the grass and he goes flying through the air. By the time I get to him, he gets up. Puts his sneakers back on and pitches the bike over onto it's other side. At this point I tell him, "Man, you're not riding that thing anywhere...". The clip ons were fubared. And most of the fairing were off. He was in a hurry to leave and was on a cell phone for somebody to come pick it up when I decided I didn't feel like getting splattered by somebody not paying attention in a car. Wished him luck and went on my way. |

I highsided my fiddy last night. Pretty bad.
I flew through the air and the landed on the brake lever just above the knee and it ripped into my leathers and made impact just behind the knee. I got a couple of slices back there, but luckily it didn't impale me. The lever ended up breaking off into the leathers and people were wondering what I was doing until I pull the lever from out of my leathers.
