You can always find space around your house...for instance, when I got a second helmet I found it fits quite nicely in the paper recycling bin.

I don't think I would leave it in there for days on end, but a couple times here or there would probably be OK. It's really up to you.

Are you guys serious?
Of coarse its fine to leave a helmet in the trunk. Some of your people are seriously over analyzing it. How fuckin hot does it get in your garage or shed, especially when you park a 2 ton heat machine of a car or truck in there and close the door??? If you are that concerned, instead of asking a bunch of internet people. Why don't you call the manufacture of the helmet?? get the real deal info instead of all our opinions. |

eh go buy a cheap lid and stick it in the oven at 250 degrees for 6 hours and look for discoloration or deformation of the outer shell.
cut the shell in half in order to check inner core temps............... ok whatever throw it in the trunk and it should be fine. |

I would get a case, soft cover or just wrap it in a towel or blanket to keep it from getting banged up. Contacting the manufacture isn't a bad idea just to see what they say. And there is nothing wrong with getting some opinions online. You can get some bs answers but you can also get some good info. My big screen that I'm watching now was bought about 4 years ago. I asked for advise online before going to the stores and I have been very happy with it. James
