My favorite paid well, oddly enough. It was testing driving prototype cars for the now defunct car company American Motors. We drove them 9 hours per day, stopped for breaks and lunch. Every time we stopped, anything that moved on the vehicle had to be moved ten times. The visors, doors, hood, seats, anything that you can think of that moved! It was funny to see 10 cars pull up, and the drivers jump out and go crazy flapping visors and hoods around.

I enjoyed the hell out of working at Cycle Gear.. working in the motorcycle industry is fun. Pay sucked, but it was a job that was flexible to where I could still go to school.

Though I love the Army. I hated it for a while after my first deployment.. but not because the Army itself pissed me off, but certain individuals made life miserable while I was downrange. After I moved on from that, I found I enjoy what I do in the military. I'm sort of a jack of all trades (started out as a paralegal - hated it because of the politics and bureaucracy.. became a transporter and an instructor.. and now am working human resources). I've found the part I like the most is taking care of Soldiers, be it directly or indirectly.

I still entertain the notion of being an Army pilot... but I think Tracy would strangle me if I did that.

My first job in retail- I loved the cash register!

And working at a personal trainer, even after i had finished my sessions, I would always be hanging out at the gym, either working out, hanging with my coworkers or the other members.

Pretty much all the other jobs i had, i hated.

It is true...I drove an end-dump for 3 months after high school and before college. I thought it was hilarious when I took an inside line around a corner and absolutely covered the minivan next to me in mud, bonus that the windows were open.

Favorite Job would have to be working as a divemaster for a liveaboard dive boat. It was a 60' Gaff Rigged Schooner, we sailed from Marathon to Key West and back doing 15 dives in a week. I didn't set foot on land for a week at a time and I wore board shorts and sunglasses all day, every day. Only reason I left was because it's actually a boat that works for the Boy Scouts, and it only runs during the summer. A close second would have to be working for the same place, but as a Captain running a Dusky 256 as a dive boat. Third would be the job I do now, I work for Sea Tow as a Captain and Salvage diver, it's hard work, pays pretty damn good, and it's fun.

The Dusky 256 is a fantastic boat, as long as it's got a Yamaha or Suzuki four-stroke on it.

Like many have said, my favourite job is the one that I'm in right now. The best compensated, the best environment, a good variety of tasks, and I'M NOT THE BOSS, so I can sleep at night.

I loved being an aircraft mechanic. I did something I was proud of that was always interesting, I got to travel all over the world, and nobody got hurt directly by what I did. It was a great job, and then they laid me off. I thought the military didn't do that!
