Default $99 Ryobi 18v drill/impact combo sale

Please leave this thread here enough for people to see before moving.

Homedepot has this kit for $99. It does not pull up in their website so you'll have to go see if your store has them.

Comes with drill, impact, 2 batteries, and charger. The good thing about these two drills is they can also use the new Lithium batteries.

I have a bunch of 18V Ryobi tools. They're pretty good quality.

I was wandering around there a few weeks ago (I work there) and we had tha same exact kit except it was the new lithium ion one on clearance for $149. I think this one for $99 is the regular price since its just a special buy thing but its probably either til they sell out or theyll bump the price up.

Back in July they had the new Lithium drill for $99 (marked down from $199) and you get the impact free with rebate.

I think it's mixed reviews on the drill since its an auto speed switcher.

Also, before you pay the high price of the new lithium batteries, check your local yellow pages. Battery joints are popping up that can swap out the Ni batt packs to Lithium. Don't konw what the going rate it is, but you'd then just need to buy the Lithium charger.

They had the regular drill and also one that has the auto switch. One of the hardware guys said they were clearancing out the auto switch because it was no good but Im not sure if they ever did.
