I call bullshit... the world didn't get color until the 50's.
Seriously though, that's really great material. They have a whole different feel from most of the photos you see from that era.

Some of those are large format photos (starting at #42).. I'm guessing 4x5, if only because larger cameras would have been even harder to manage.
I'm having such a massive geek moment - I so dig this stuff.
