Happy (belated) New Year.
We didn't do anything on NYE. My oldest daughter turned 21 on the 30th, and the server at the bar decided he didn't care if my younger daughter was only 19, he'd serve her anyway. (He was in the Navy and when he heard she leaves for boot camp in may, he got all "you're old enough to serve, you're old enough to be served.) Maybe it was because there weren't many people at the bar, or maybe it was because it was 3 girls, all I know is a lot of the bar staff decided to hang out with us for the night. And then invite us to another bar so they could start closing their's around 1. I had 2 very hungover daughters on the 31st in spite of a very small bar tab on the 30th! Gotta love that! ETA: Here's a pic of their first shot of the night (Jack) and then one of them in the backseat of my car when we got home. Younger sister tried to help older sister out of the car, it didn't work out that well. Last edited by 2up; 01-03-2009 at 01:29 PM.. |
