Default Likely kept a motorcyclist from getting in a wreck yesterday

There's some construction in my town (like in all towns), but this one particular street has the east bound lane closed for about 100 feet while they work on the intersection. I'm heading east bound in my car and am required to turn left due to construction. Turning right only gets you into hotel parking lots. I see a motorcyclist heading west bound on the open lane of this road, so I wait to turn left because I'm not going to turn in front of him. There are no stop signs at this intersection. However, there is an idiot woman that pulls up to the exit of the hotel parking lot on the right while I'm stopped and assumes that I'm stopped to let her pull out, which she proceeds to do. The instant she waves at me and rolls forward, I hold my hand up to her indicating "stop" and I start honking like crazy (not a steady horn, but on/off/on/off rapidly). Rather than stop instantly, she looks at me confused and keeps rolling forward, not stopping until the nose of her car is taking up half of the motorcylist's lane. Fortunately, the motorcyclist could see me the whole time and was smart enough to slow down as soon as I started honking but hadn't yet come to a complete stop. The woman then went on across while the motorcyclist was still moving and I was still honking like an idiot. My windows were down and the motorcyclist rolled up slow and thanked me. I'm just glad I was there, otherwise, she likely would have pulled out right in front of him, or would have T-boned him.
