Default This CL guy's a fucking idiot... and I'm pretty sure...

he thinks I'm a moron too...

I need a new bumper cover and fender for my truck... Trip to OH in September, I was incredibly tired and not paying attention... pulled out of a parking spot, cut the wheel, and caught one of those 3ft concrete filled bright yellow poles... hit right in front of my tire denting the fender and tearing the bumper half off... Found a bumper on CL and emailed the guy...

If I remember right it was just bumped into slightly in a parking lot when my truck was just a few months old. Someone was backing out of a parking spot and bumped into it while parked. I think the dealership said they could heat and Reshape the small area easily but just put a new bumper on instead. It may need a paint or at least a good buff if your truck is also black. Did you get hit? :-(. How much is a new one out of curiosity?

Oh and the bumper wasn't torn or anything. It was just a small dent in the fiberglass which I think can be repaired easily.

Yeah, I got hit by a pole backing out of a parking spot… tore the corner of the bumper off, tearing the tabs.

Unfortunately, my truck isn’t black so it’ll need to be painted anyway.

Well let me know if you are semi seriously interested and I will try to get it out tonight and take a look at it. I'm pretty sure the tabs are fine and everything. I'm not really sure why I kept it lol. I guess in case I ever had another issue like yours. I think I'd prefer not to ship, though. Do you ever make it out this way? Now that I just re-read your last response. I'm wondering...are you sure it's a front bumper you need? You say you were backing out.

I am absolutely serious… I don’t mind making the trip this weekend if you’re in a hurry, otherwise I’ll be heading through Tampa on my way to SW FL for Christmas and could pick it up then. It is the front bumper, I turned as I was backing up and the pole caught the front fender, denting it, and pulling off the front bumper cover at the same time.
