Good to know, but WAY over my paygrade. Definitely something interesting to look at when I figure out how to work it.

Not sure correct term for it, but its a standard monitor cable hookup, can go to desk top and also fits the connector on my HP laptop. I've got the HDMI cable for the laptop to tv, but I just use the Xbox for that instead of the laptops.

There is a specific adaptor I read about for connecting the monitor, but until I really need it Im not going to worry about it. I live in BFE as far as shopping is concerned so I have to order everything online anyway.
