Sidi boots are top notch. I would get something more road oriented with a strom. It's not made for hardcore off road, so you will want to find something more like the on roads or similar. MX boots are designed to let water in, I would look for something else with what you will be doing. After riding to Orlando and back during winter, I wished I had waterproof boots.

They sell First Gear and Rev'it and will make sure you get what you are looking for. Tell them conditions you will be using it and what you will mostly be doing. They really know their stuff.
