AMA Suzuki Superbike Showdown @ Road Atlanta 4-18-10... pics and vids

Well my buddy in Atlanta called me the other day and said he had gotten 4 free tickets to the AMA races at Road Atlanta, and I was welcome to one of the tickets. So sunday morning I rode down to Braselton, Georgia and met up with my buddy, we grabbed some lunch then headed over to the track

There's quite a few pics here, but I'm just using my little point and shoot camera, which really sucks for this type of photography (I reeeaaallly want a DSLR!!). So that's the reason there's so many pics, and most of them do suck (sorry!). *But you get the idea. I'm not really sorting through all these, just uploaded pretty much all the ones I took and just posting them all

Road Atlanta is a pretty nice track, and it's big! 2.5 miles and lots of hills

We lucked out big time shortly after we had gotten there. *We first parked in the general parking area, went and walked around a little bit then came back to get something to drink. *As we're sitting there, some people in an RV in the reserved section were leaving, and said we could take their spot if we wanted it. So we backed his Jeep up in their spot, right at the fence overlooking T9-10

Saw this goofy thing as it was pulling in. From what I hear these things go for around $75,000

A few videos (once again, not the greatest quality I know... taken with my point n shoot). We were able to get right up next to the track.... it was very cool seeing just how fast these guys (and ladies too, there is a female racer in there as well!) really go... insane!
